As part of our She Births® community I thought that (those of you who live in Sydney) may like to know about a special friend of mine who is visiting and offering really well priced and amazing Ayurvedic massage treatments. These are not your usual massage…as they are designed to help settle, heal and balance the body, mind and heart and to stabilise the nervous system.
If you want to book or ask questions please email Innica: yoginiwear@yahoo.in

Dates are between 13th -27th March 2013.
Reasonably priced at only $60 per session.
Overall treatment consists of Snehana (warm sesame oil body massage), Pichu (oelation of the forehead), ear treatment, nose treatment, and mouthwash (cleansing of the senses).
Snehana is a specific Ayurvedic massage technique.  ‘Sneha’ in sanskrit literally means ‘oil’, and is also translated as ‘love.’  This is a full-body oil massage that focuses on calming and soothing the elements of air and ether present in our bodies – Vata, essentially – by moving the vayus (winds) in their correct direction in the body.
It is highly recommended to have 3 sessions per week in consecutive days to enhance the effects of this special treatment, for 1 or 2 weeks at your choice.
Each session will last up to 1.5 hours, including the after shower.
Location for treatment is Darlinghurst
A little more about Ayurveda…
Ayurveda is widely regarded as the oldest form of healthcare in the world, it’s an intricate medical system that originated in India 5 thousand years ago.
The aim of this system is to prevent illness, heal the sick and preserve life. This can be summed up as follows: To protect health and prolong life (“Swashthyas swasthya rakshanam”). To eliminate diseases and dysfunctions of the body (Aturasya vicar prashamanamcha”).

Innica Lane, who’s been travelling to India for 18 years, studied for the last 5 years with her partner, a generational Ayurvedic Doctor from South India.
Innica is coming to Sydney for 2 weeks to offer 3 day treatments to women interested in balancing the Air & Space element (Vata), which is increased by the busy-ness of city living.
Effects of this 3-day program brings you more firmly connected to the earth, grounding scattered energy. It increases the qualities of ‘manda’ (slowness) and ‘snigdha’ (unctuousness, softness).  This is good for an active mind, anxiety or insomnia, dry skin, as well as cracking or stiff joints and sore muscles.
Please book before 28th Feb with your preferred dates for treatment via email: yoginiwear@yahoo.in
Love,
