Connection and Loss

Connection is simply another word for union or yoga!

It really is the most important thing in life, in birth, in motherhood, in partnership etc…All this hoo haa in spiritual circles about detachment to me is seriously overrated!! How are we ever to love or to learn and grow without attachment and connection? Attachment is the bond of love, founded on the depths of your vulnerability, your honesty and your expression of feelings. It is foundation of your family and and the food from where you will find your purpose in life and also great fulfillment.
There has a been a lot of tragic losses in our community within this last month and I really wanted to acknowledge the amazing women that have gone through their journey’s. How courageous and inspiring each of you are for embracing the depths of the pain and also seeing the light and beauty in the experience.
When I reflect upon my labours and my miscarriages I know that I would not be the person I am today without those experiences. Each one made me incredibly vulnerable and ‘opened’ me up. That opening or vulnerabilty also allowed me to love and connect deeper each time with myself and those around me.
Each one of our journey’s in life is totally unique but we are all heading the exact same way…towards a more expanded state of happiness and a deeper sense of inner peace.
Know that you are worthy of profound love and that life is good always.
