Tonight is the last New Moon for 2015 and it is the perfect time to set your personal intentions for 2016. So grab your journal and consider the life you want to create for yourself and your family next year, and how you would like to give back to others. Give yourself the space to dream big!
I have been dreaming big lately and have lots of new things already happening at She Births® – a new logo and a new website coming, birthing bags with wonderful fair trade goods inside, a learning management system that will give resources to couples over 9 months so they no longer feel overwhelmed and can avoid reading conflicting books/websites etc…And of course I have lots of new plans for 2016 that I look forward to sharing with you all.
My first big news is that I will finally be running a She Births® – Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training in June 2016. This has been many years in the making and a wonderful way to understand and deepen your yoga practice while also learning more about the unique She Births® philosophy as well as birthing techniques It will have a first component open to all people and a second component just for yoga teachers who want to receive certification. Register your interest here and stay in the loop.
Due to popular demand I am also running an earlier She Births® Educator Training Program from 8th February 2016. Space is strictly limited (as my house is rather small) and there is only one seat remaining! Could this be the path for you and a new move in your career? Can you imagine how nourishing it is to give back to your community, eduating mums and dads in creating happier, healthier and more conscious families? If are you interested in knowing more email us here and Caitlin can send an info pack. And book you in for a free Discovery Session with me to discuss whether this is the right path for you and what steps you could take to learn more about birth.
The Dharma Shala is closed now until the 26th Dec. for renovations and will open with new floors, more light and less walls 😉 I will be teaching prenatal yoga on Saturday’s at The Living Room, Coogee – 12pm on the 12th and 19th Dec and return to the Shala on the 26th Dec.  I am giving my Creating a Beautiful Birth charity talk this Saturday in Coogee after class – all are welcome.

And also, you can read about me and my She Births® journey here on the great Kidspot site.“I teach women that birth can be beautiful and actually one of the most empowering, enriching and wonderful days of her and her partner’s life – and not just the end point when you meet baby! The process is extraordinarily bonding – not like what is shown on TV or portrayed in Hollywood.”possibilityproject
Social Justice & Christmas
I met the wonderful Kath and Kim who founded the Possibility Project and work with mums in the slums of Jaipur – to create SlumWear108 last week at Conscious Club and bought most of my Xmas presents. Check out their site and market stall for some beautiful presents and a deeper understanding of the true essence of social justice. I love them!
